Egloffstein Castle - Rock Apartment

Historic, lovingly renovated bright and quiet apartment on two floors in the Egloffstein castle complex. The apartment can only be reached via the idyllic courtyard. In the entrance area: dining room and kitchen. The cozy living room-bedroom has a fireplace and leads to the battlements, high above the valley. Bedroom and bathroom as well as 2 additional beds are located on the upper floor. The apartment is an ideal starting point for hiking, biking or climbing on the rocks in the immediate vicinity.

The shower, toilet and kitchen are located in the main building (direct proximity) in the basement. Getting used the sauna can be used. Barbecue, pool and garden can be used in summer

The apartment is located in a former Franconian farm, the Engelschanze, on the edge of the forest in the most beautiful area of Franconian Switzerland. In the Engelschanze there are 2 separate apartments, which can also be booked as a unit for 8-10 people. The large garden can be used by all guests. It stretches over the adjacent forest, where there is also a hammock for general use. Each apartment has its own terrace with a view.

If you like to ride a bike, you have the opportunity to rent an e-bike from us.
