Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a nice log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. Grandma vibe near Aavasaksanvaara near the Swedish border. Well equipped 50's cozy front style house. The house has a pirtti with a well-stocked kitchen, one bedroom, and a sauna department. The sauna section of the house has a chamber with overnight accommodation and a very good wood-burning sauna. The sauna wing was built in the 70s and the surfaces of the sauna and washroom have been renovated in the spring of 2023. Sleeps up to 5 guests. Dog guests are also welcome for an additional fee

Upon pre-booking, we can offer access to a wood-fired hot tub outdoors and kayak rentals. From Båtskärsnäs, popular boat trips also go out into the archipelago and in the winter we have nice ice and ski trails. Snowshoes, sleds and snowshoes are available to borrow.

Our farmhouse locates in the beautiful nordic island of Seskarö. Haparanda 20min, Rovaniemi 1h 50min, Kalix 40 min, Luleå 1h 40min, Oulu 2h. The farmhouse has experienced a beautiful transformation from a rundown schack to a darling and loveable farmhouse. Its nice wallpapered walls and warm interior makes it to a cozy place to stay! There are 5 beds of which 2 are for max 165cm long persons. Extra matresses can be asked if needed.

The cottage is modern and cosy , very compact and located by the river Kemijoki. Amazing view to river and safe private beach for kids to play and swim. Big terrace and barbeque area gives for your staying more value. The interior of the cabin is decorated with Finnish design classics, and it is very cozy with all the household equipment needed. A warm welcome to stay in a cozy 100-square-meter detached house, in a peaceful and idyllic seaside setting. The accommodation price includes bedding and towels, the basics of cooking (spices, cooking oil, etc.), laundry detergent, and all the equipment you need for basic living. In the bedroom, a double bed and in the other rooms, there are also 2 extendable sofa beds. Rovaniemi is 120km away. Kemi and Tornio 20km.

We, as the host family, live in the main building on the same plot and often stay out in the yard. A friendly dog also moves freely on the site.
