A short drive away there’s a Nature reserve, play barn, golf, tennis, fishing & a little zoo as well as Blyton ice cream & racetrack. A little stream with ducks is in the next village. There are three stables adjoining so also great for going with friends or family. Leger lakes is a small family run business, three small fishing lakes. The Ruby lake has five camping pods. Shepherd Hut in Tranquil Setting

Our Shepherds hut was built as a labour of love and is set in a leafy secluded spot in our 2 acre garden. Surrounding you is blissful green complete with pond and your own personal fire pit, with our sleepy campsite nearby. The space has a delightful kitchen/living area and super comfy double bed. There is electric light and heating, and the space is stocked with kitchen essentials, bedding and household items. The new toilet and shower block is just a a short walk away.

Century House - Thoresby Park

Century House is situated just outside the entirely private and gated Estate village of Perlethorpe, situated at the heart of Thoresby Estate. Thoresby was one of the four country Ducal Estates which gave the nickname Dukeries to the area due to the high number of Dukes who lived in the area, and is still owned by the Pierrepont family today. Century House was built in 19th Century and was traditionally home to the Estate Land Agent with the last Agent leaving in 2019.
