Our Salty Cabin lies in the village of Zoganje (Zogaj), surrounded by an olive grove counting over three hundred trees. Located nearby are Salina salt pans, a salt factory-turned-bird park where both silence and sounds of nature such as birds chirp and frog “ribbit” can be experienced and enjoyed. Location is perfect for enjoying birdwatching and getting to know around half of the European bird species. Out of 500 species, around 250 can be seen flying over, or around, the Salty Cabin.

The house dates back to 1920 and has been fully renovated in 2014 with custom made design executed by local materials and artisans. The surroundings are quite rural with sheeps and horses at close distance. The lakes, a pristine bird sanctuary is one of the most beautiful and preserved landscapes in Europe.

Please take into consideration that the cabin is not for children or infants. Maximum 2 grown-ups. Also, consider, that during summer, on the perimeter there can be up to 6 turists who also share the surroundings with you.
