Authentic Hiking Barn Altitude 1100m

Come to discover Le Playras, a small cluster of barns perched at 1,100 meters alt on a mountainside in the heart of the Pyrenees. A paradise for hikers and anyone looking to recharge far from the hustle and bustle, amidst magnificent scenery. There is no need to take the car; everything is within easy reach on foot! You can set off on hikes ranging from an hour to a full day right from the doorstep. Hiking trail passes right by the property and connects to the GR10 and the Spanish border.

Mountain house

A 75m2 cottage, rather rustic, that can accommodate up to 6 people. It is located at the bottom of the Biros valley in the municipality of Sentein. In a green setting, it has a small, unfenced garden and an unusual terrace where you can relax and enjoy the view of the mountain and the stream that flows below. It's the ideal place to rest, recharge your batteries, go for a walk or go fishing. The cottage has easy access to many hikes with a direct departure from the house.

Chalet in the heart of the mountains.

Relax in the wilderness with views of the mountain peaks (Mont Vallier 2800 m). The village, facing south, is at an altitude of 1000 m. A furnished chalet (15 m2) will welcome you with its simple, noble and clean comfort in a pleasant flowery garden. The bathroom is right in the small cottage next door. Paid massages available. Balacet is a starting point for hikes. It is accessible by car year-round. 15 minutes from Castillon (shops) and 30 minutes from Saint Girons.

Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Multiple hikes possible without taking your car. We'll be happy to let you know!

Want to take a break in the heart of the Ariège Regional Natural Park? We welcome you with joy in this newly renovated barn located 800 m above sea level facing the Pyrenees mountain range. For shopping: shops 10 minutes by car and markets including Saint-Girons.

A nature destination, ideal for nature lovers looking for calm or for hikers, you will find in this secluded place, a dream place to relax and walk away from the main roads and away from the city's hustle and bustle. To complete this spirit of tranquility, the cottage is accessed by a forest track by 4x4 or on foot. For those who do not have a 4x4, your hosts will pick you up on arrival and bring you back on your departure.

The "La Borde" cottage is an old barn typical of the Ariégeoise Pyrenees located at the entrance to the village of Antras. It has a sunny location and a magnificent view of the mountains facing the Maubermé. In front of the cottage you will have a small terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue to fully enjoy the countryside setting. Access to the cottage is via a small pedestrian path (20 meters from the road).
