The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. In addition, the landscape is created for beautiful walks and bike rides.

Our lovely cottage was erected and built in 2005, as a family project between two brothers and our respective families. New floors, sanitation, beds and more new furniture in spring 2025. Slap af med hele familien i denne fredfyldte bolig. Tæt på strand og skov og med en sti (gå/cykle) der går hele vejen ind til Vordingborgs smukke havn og ruiner. Tre soveværelser: to med dobbeltsenge og et har en enkeltseng og en slå-ud seng. Stor stue med to sofaer, brændeovn og TV. Stor lys udestue som kan benyttes forår og sommer. Smuk lukket have med siddepladser, udepejs og drivhus. I haven går seks høns i indhegning og til hus og have hører også en meget kælen og social langhåret kat.

Our basement apartment offers everything you need for a 2 persons stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for small meals, there is a smaller dining area in the room, along with a double bed. Toilet separate from the bathroom and laundry facilities in connection with the bathroom. Private entrance with key box in case we are not home to greet you.

The kitchen also has a freezer and dishwasher. It is possible to sit outdoors on a small terrace. The view is not good, but it is quiet and peaceful, with max. 5 min. by car to the highway.

Ore Strand is an extension of Vordingborg city, where there are good shopping opportunities, cozy cafes and lots of nature and cultural experiences. It is a 10-minute drive to the highway, where you can reach Copenhagen to the north and Rødby harbor to the south in an hour.

Stay centrally in Vordingborg in a former studio in the old boulevard district. From here, you can easily visit Denmark's Borgcenter and Gåsetårnet, listen to concerts at STARS, experience theater in Pavillon K, eat at the city's restaurants, go to the swimming pool and much more - and both forest and beach are within reasonable walking and cycling distance.
