The first thing visitors notice is “the view”. The Bunkhouse offers a unique perspective on secluded Pwlldu Bay. Atop limestone cliffs, The Bunkhouse is nestled in Wales’ first AONB. Retreat from the bustle of city life, pause and connect with the wild, and relax to the sound of the sea as the Gower coast unfolds before you.

The accommodation is a self contained en-suite accommodation in a quiet semi rural location. It has a large private balcony to the rear of the property which is a perfect sun trap overlooking ancient woodland . Here you can relax while listening to the sound of the water running in the brook below. There is also a separate private patio area on the ground floor for al-fresco dining together with a BBQ for guests use. There is secure storage for cycles and other equipment on the ground floor.

We offer the exclusive use of one our log cabins - this cabin has been newly refurbished and is set within the boundaries of our small holding in a rural area. The cabins are perfectly located just 1.5 miles from junction 37 on the M4. We are within 2 miles of Margam Park and only a 10 min drive to the coastal town of Porthcawl. We are a 35 min drive from the beautiful beaches of the Gower, and a 30 min drive to the new Tower zip line. We have free WiFi and linen and towels are included.

Dinas Pod

One of 3 Glamping pods on our 12 acre smallholding. Sleeps a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children or max. 3 adults. They contain double bed and bunk beds, a toilet cubicle which has a camping cassette toilet for night time convenience. The pods are heated and insulated making a cosy stay all year round. There is a separate communal building which has 3 showers, 3 toilets, a fully equipped kitchen, including fridges for guest use, and dining room to relax in. The patio overlooks the garden.

Use this home as a base to visit many other coastal beaches within the region. Does not offer a sea view, but who wants to be inside when the beach is on your doorstep.
