Timmerstuga Seskarö

Cozy log cabin in a peaceful setting. Experience the tranquility of the forest and the glitz of the morning sun over the sea. The cottage is rustic with outdoor toilet and cold/summer water in the kitchen. The cabin does not have a shower/bathtub. In summer, it is possible to rent a sauna at Leppäniemikajen on Seskarö, about 3 km from the cabin. Two nice beaches within 300 meters distance. Seskarö offers a grocery store. 28 km from Seskarö there are the border towns of Haparanda and Torneå which offer shopping and other activities.

Charming log cabin on the shore of Kemijoki

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a nice log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. Relativt centralt och nära till buss eller tåg. Gästhuset är beläget på samma tomt som Värdfamiljens bostad. Ca 5min promenad till gym och pizzeria. 10min cykelfärd till mataffär, ca 15-20min med cykel till stan. Parkeringsplats finns. Relax with the family in this peaceful accommodation, in beautiful Båtskärsnäs, near Frevisörens camping (Nordiclapland) with swimming and activities. Guests' pets are welcome. Upon pre-booking, we can offer access to a wood-fired hot tub outdoors and kayak rentals. From Båtskärsnäs, popular boat trips also go out into the archipelago and in the winter we have nice ice and ski trails. Snowshoes, sleds and snowshoes are available to borrow.

Our farmhouse locates in the beautiful nordic island of Seskarö. Haparanda 20min, Rovaniemi 1h 50min, Kalix 40 min, Luleå 1h 40min, Oulu 2h. The farmhouse has experienced a beautiful transformation from a rundown schack to a darling and loveable farmhouse. Its nice wallpapered walls and warm interior makes it to a cozy place to stay! There are 5 beds of which 2 are for max 165cm long persons. Extra matresses can be asked if needed.
