It is situated a 10 minute drive from Leknes and the airport. This cabin is in the middle of a peaceful and quiet and private area with own parking and hiking close by.

The Blue House - Blokken

A genuine and cozy house from 1900 with an amazing atmosphere and view. The Blue House is an optimal base for hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowshoe trekking and mountaineering. Fishing in the lakes or in the sea is right outside the door. Maps, first aid kit are available free of charge. The house is just renovated, and painted in colors chosen by the “blue city” artist, Bjørn Elvenes. Charger for electric cars is available for an extra fee.

Old and new in perfect harmony. Renovated part of an old Nordland house from about 1890 with visible timber interior, new modern kitchen and bathroom. 3 bedrooms. New part with large windows and spectacular views of mountains and sea. Now also including Hot Tub service! Hot tub must be pre-booked. Newly built vintage style apartment in a former barn. The place is beautifully situated by the sea and mountains. Popular fishing spot for trout and salmon. Several kilometers of forest roads for walking. In winter, we have created a suitable fire pit to enjoy the Northern Lights that often beautifully dances across the sky.
