Vine Cottage is a quaint gite in a secluded part of rural France. It sleeps four people; a large bedroom upstairs with a king-size bed and a smaller double room downstairs with two single beds. There is a shower room on the ground floor. The historic town of Melle is just 4km away with a choice of supermarkets/restaurants etc. The gite itself is very private with a beautiful swimming pool, garden and eating area. Ample parking, and central heated, the gite is available all year round.

Our cottage La Marceline, furnished in 2020, is located in a detached house facing south, open to a beautiful wooded area, in the heart of a small village. The living area of 60 m2 for 2 people consists of a very bright kitchen-living area, a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. In front of the house, a courtyard is available as well as a parking lot. For your short or longer stays, vacation or professional, you will find peace and comfort here!

A spacious living area features natural stone flooring and wooden ceiling beams. Large glass doors lead to the outdoors, illuminating the room. A comfortable sofa faces a wall-mounted television, with two armchairs providing additional seating. The design includes a staircase to the upper level.

Excellent vacation

Enjoy with your family this fabulous accommodation in the countryside and discover our beautiful department. 45 min from La Rochelle, 45 min from the Poitevin marsh, 1 hour from Poitiers and 1h30 from the beaches of Royan. It consists of 3 bedrooms ( 2 with double bed and 1 with bunk bed) possibility to transform the sofa into a bed! This beautiful place is fully equipped. It also consists of an outdoor pool, bocce court and foosball table.

Situated in a quaint rural village, surrounded by sunflower fields it is an ideal venue to relax, explore the French markets, visit the region. Close by are Cognac, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré., Marais Poitevin, Niort and Poitiers.Bordeaux & the Loire are a couple of hours by car; and Paris 2 hrs by TGV.
