The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

There are two restrooms and a large living room where you can make your own coffee and tea, however a kitchen is not available. The apartment is ideal for a peaceful retreat. It's a 20 minute drive to the "Messe Düsseldorf", "Messe Essen" and the Düsseldorf airport. Ideal for wedding guests at Haus zum Haus or Herrenhaus Cromford. Private parking is available.

In Minuten seid Ihr an den Haltestellen, die Euch mit Bus und Bahn sofort ins Zentrum Düsseldorfs, zur Messe oder ins Ruhrgebiet befördern. Der Flughafen, Flughafenbahnhof sowie die Hauptbahnhöfe sind schnell erreicht. Das schöne Kaiserswerth bietet Restaurants, Shopping und den Rhein vor der Tür.

The studio was built in 2015 as a barrier-free extension to a renovated villa from 1904. The special flair of this 63 m2 apartment on the ground floor is that it was used as a painting studio until recently. This becomes visible through the many paintings on display, the large wall easel and the traces of many hours of creativity on the heated industrial floor. From the balcony you can see a park-like garden that can also be used by the guests.

Central location to the airport (12 km), Düsseldorf exhibition center, with direct connection to the A52, A3 motorway. Parking at the house allows air travelers to park the vehicle for free during the trip. A nearby forest invites you to stroll. The small town center with various shops can be reached in 15 minutes on foot.
