Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay and Putsborough/Woolacombe are all within easy reach. To the West the is wonderful Hartland Peninsula. Both Exmoor and North Devon coast and Dartmoor are about 40 mins drive. One small to medium well behaved dog is welcome if accompanied by similar humans! 😁
