The sleeping area for two people can be reached by a comfortable ladder staircase. There is a small wood-burning stove that heats the cottage, is used as a stove and spreads cosiness. Direct parking on the property. There is another hut on the property, which also occasionally accommodates guests.

On 200 m2 on 3 floors, it can now accommodate up to 12 people. The rooms are airy, with historical details from many decades. The house is located in the middle of the Thuringian Slate Mountains, close to the Hohenwarte reservoir, the ideal area for hiking, bike rides or canoeing.

When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form.
