Visit the historic Grand Lake Theater and the Morcom Rose Garden, and walk the picturesque shores of Lake Merritt. The home is walking distance to Lake Merritt and all the great shops and restaurants on Grand Avenue - one of Oakland's best commercial strips. 19th Street BART stations is a quick bus ride (10 - 15 minutes on the 21, which leaves less than a block from the house) or a Lyft or Uber ride away. Lyft line usually costs under $5 per ride from the home to any of the BART stations in Oakland. There is parking for one car available at the entrance to the studio.
