L'aia

The Rural House or "Colonica" of the Belforte Podere has ancient origins. Its roots are themselves the history of the hills of Villamagna, where it was built in the Middle Ages. The first attestations date back to 1200. The architectural structure, the various stone-castings and the wooden architraves in the walls - shown after the restoration - clarify their use as a Watchtower. In 1700, it was transformed into a farmhouse for agricultural use.

The Terrace

The Terrace is formed by a double-room in two floors, recently completely renovated and decorated with style. It is located in Settignano, a small neighborhood 6 km from the center of Florence with bus n.10 which end of line is only 50 meters from the access gate of the house. In 15 minutes you can easily reach the center of the city. Beside the gate there s the bar Vida, always full of delicious pastries and fresh tramezzino sandwiches.

The large house is subdivided into two parts; guests will be using the main portion of the house, while a smaller part is kept empty but not available for guests.
