Around the lake you can experience untouched nature. The Elster Cycle Trail connects Saxony and Thuringia along the reservoir dam. The town of Elsterberg with all shopping can be reached in 3 minutes driving.

Due to the convenient location to the A9 and A72, excursion destinations are easily accessible. The bright and cozy apartment is located in a large garden in the district of Taubach, idyllically located on the Ilm, 5 km from the city center in Weimar. A separate entrance leads to the kitchen-living room, a large living/sleeping room and the bathroom. A sliding door can be closed to the kitchen-living room. The garden can be fully used. Various seats invite you to relax. There are two beautiful bike paths to Weimar as well as an hourly bus connection.

The sleeping area for two people can be reached by a comfortable ladder staircase. There is a small wood-burning stove that heats the cottage, is used as a stove and spreads cosiness. In winter, the ski resorts of Schöneck, Mühlleiten and Klingenthal invite you to ski.
