The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. The Old Hayloft is a hidden gem within close walking distance of cafes, bars and restaurants, independent shops, places of interest, and the fabulous Beverley Minster. The railway station is close by. The very private and luxury accommodation is upstairs with its own entrance and a large and very comfortable super king bed. Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.

Our beautiful period cottage is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Welton, East Yorkshire. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Hull, Beverly, historical York or exploring the vast Yorkshire Wolds. The beautiful Yorkshire coast is within an hour and a half’s drive. Filey, Bridlington, Whitby all fantastic seaside towns to explore. We have lovingly restored the cottage to the highest standards and hope you appreciate the beautiful items we have chosen.

The Tack Room - North Ferriby

The Tack Room is a charming property located at the heart of the lovely village North Ferriby. The property has recently been converted in 2024 to a high standard whilst being sympathetic to the character of the building. Ideally situated for travel being on the M62 corridor. The the local pub, cafe, Co-Op and Indian restaurant are just yards down the road. The train station is a 9minute walk, with countryside walks on the doorstep including the Yorkshire Wolds Way.
