Elsau is located on the city border to Winterthur. Rural and yet close to the city. Visit Winterthur with its cafés, museums, the Technorama or the music festivals! Zurich can be reached in 30 minutes by train and car. The same applies to the Rhine Falls or the border with Germany and Austria. The property has its own entrance and parking space, and is close to the bus or train stop. In summer, the in-house pool can be used by arrangement. Baby crib by arrangement.

Cozy house in the countryside

The small cozy part of the house is available to guests alone and is not used by us personally. The guesthouse is located about 1 km from the train station in Rikon. The accommodation is located in the nature in the beautiful Tösstal which invites you to relax and hike. The Tösstal has various hiking routes. In Rikon there is a public swimming pool, various restaurants and a village shop. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, dishes, glasses and cutlery.

Our lovingly developed construction trailer is in an idyllic location on our farm near the horses and chickens. It's greening and blooming all around this small, cozy space. You will find peace and nature, but you are in various villages in a few minutes and in Winterthur in 15 minutes. There are 2 shared toilets, but without a shower. The construction trailer is equipped with a cozy 1.40 x 2 m bed and seating, as well as heating and drinks.

Since I regularly spend extended weekends in Ticino, I rent out my private apartment through Airbnb. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is close to nature – and yet central: right across the street begins a small forest with beautiful walks. Shopping is just 5 minutes walking distance and the train station is 10 minutes walk. We have a beautiful studio apartment with a private entrance on the ground floor of our country home. If you are looking for rest and a base for your European travels or if you are traveling with your family, we are your stop. This studio functions well for 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children on a comfortable pull out bed. The pool is a private pool in our garden and is shared with our family.

Seuzach is a suburb of the beautiful city of Winterthur (5 km away), well connected by train and bus. Zurich can be reached in 25 minutes by S11 (express train) or in 25 km on the A1 by car. The house is located in the core zone of Seuzach and yet you are in the countryside in a few steps.

Enjoy the birds' chirping and fresh air while staying at this unique place. Shower in outdoor shower and relax in simplicity. If it's too cold the night you have booked or very wet, there is another bed as a backup. The indoor bathroom is communal.
