The "Little Kate" with the thatched cottage and the garden house is located on an approximately 10,000 square meter property. Meadows, moor areas, old trees, form the surroundings. The floor space is approximately 50 square meters. The room is between 2.2 m in the conservatory and 4.6 m in the dining area. A wooden ladder leads to the sleeping level. The bed is (2 x 1.4) m. Alternatively, a sofa bed can be used on the first floor. The house was completely renovated in 2019. An approx. 35 sqm terrace is included.

Great log cabin in quiet forest settlement for nature lovers. The cabin has a nice living room with fireplace, kitchen, dining area, 2 small bedrooms. The bathroom is freshly renovated. 2 terraces and a gas grill. In the garden pond there are fish, frogs and toads. In the wild romantic garden there are tall trees, birds, hedgehogs, squirrels, spiders, grass snakes... The property is fenced about 1.2 m high. The surroundings with forest, the river Oste and many lakes invite you to hike and cycle.

For professional handling there is a detailed description. Each wood basket costs EUR 10. Please leave the money in the hut. Bed linen/towels are included in the rental price. Immerse yourself in the timeless retro charm of our vacation home on the dike in Balje. The rural life, the expanses of the outer dyke as well as the large garden, in which fruit trees can also be found, invite you to slow down. From the upper floor you can look at the Elbe with its shipping traffic to and from Hamburg. Nestled between Cuxhaven and Stade, many small towns offer beautiful routes and opportunities for shopping and lingering, also for cyclists and motorcyclists.

My place is close to Stade, Cuxhaven and the North Sea. You can enjoy great views, dikes and the Elbe. Our region is perfect for resting from the city noise, relaxing, and there are also great bike paths and much more. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Krummendeich is a great starting point for - whether to Duhnen, Otterndorf or the Altes Land, everything is easily accessible.

Between the orchards

Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). Our 1-room apartment is fully equipped and really very nice. We look forward to seeing you soon...

Enjoy your time out in our tasteful accommodation right next to the natural forest Franzhorner Forst. The apartment is family-friendly and fully equipped with everything you need for a nice break. When you step out of your own front door, you are practically already on the Nordpfad/in the forest. In the shared large garden plot there is a private terrace, a fire pit and the possibility to barbecue and plenty of space to relax.
