Our centrally located cottage is peaceful to relax in & recharge, but conveniently located on the main Rd to Edinburgh. City Centre is 14 miles, Airport & Tram stop 6.7miles & Uphall train station to Edinburgh or Glasgow is 1.9miles away. Motorways linking to most of Scotland are 2/3 miles away. Our home has a well equipped kitchen, fast WiFi 105mbps tested & workstation. There are plenty of local amenities too - Uphall golf course (par 69), shops, cafés, takeaways, supermarkets & cosy pubs.

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. We're minutes away from Edinburgh Airport, The Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston and the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena as well as the soon to be opened Surf Centre. Our local train station is ten minute drive away or a twenty minute walk from which you can get to Edinburgh city centre in less than twenty minutes. We can offer either a super king size double or two single beds as well as all the usual amenities for a comfortable stay.
