Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. This apartment was renovated in summer 2019. It is a cozy apartment for 2 - 4 people. It is well connected to public transportation. In just 13 minutes, you can take the PostBus to the nearest ski resort. Beautiful hikes can be made from the front door. Starting from a booking of one night, you will receive the Toggenburger guest card with which you can benefit from many discounts. You can travel for free in Obertoggenburg by public transport.

The studio is located on the first floor of a detached house in a quiet area, with parking (+ garage for bicycles), small terrace and separate entrance. The apartment is equipped with a pull-out sofa (140 × 200), a single bed on a raised platform (not suitable for small children), private bathroom and small kitchen (see pictures). The house is located 5-7 minutes' walk from the train station, BZBS, OST and the city center.

A feel-good oasis for wonderful and relaxing vacations. In the immediate vicinity is a restaurant, shopping and public transport are about 30 minutes walk away. The ski resorts of Chäserrugg and Wildhaus can be reached in 5 minutes by car.

The simply furnished studio has a small bathroom and an open kitchen, which is equipped with the basic cooking utensils. From the studio window you can enjoy a magnificent view over the Rhine Valley. The apartment is ideal for excursions to the mountains or to the Principality of Liechtenstein.
