On Sundays the markets ARE SHUT so on this tour we will visit a taverna and eat traditional Athenian food and go to a spice shop and a honey and olive oil producer to taste these amazing products! We will enjoy a fantastic deli with a cured meat and cheese tasting and also sample Greek coffee and yogurt from a local producer. Many tastings offered including sit down meals of meat and fish on all our tours, as you learn about Greek culture from people who live it daily. You will have many friends in Athens at the end of this experience! Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are available however, vegan options not available on Sundays. ***Please be aware this experience is great for beginners and those with little experience swimming, but If you have a deep fear of water or the ocean it may impact your experience - we are dive instructors not psychologists*** We will begin our adventure with an ocean-side safety briefing while everyone is fitted for their equipment. Once we chat about how to responsibly and passively interact with turtles and other sea life, we will walk down to the beach and hit the water! We will take it nice and slow so you have a few moments to get accustomed to your gear and you feel confident enough to enjoy the underwater world. This is a natural sea grass bed, which is why we are blessed with turtles :) Please do remember, however, that this is a completely wild experience and we could never guarantee the sighting of a wild animal. 99 times out of 100 we see several baby and adult turtles per tour! I will take you to explore one of the seven wonders of the modern world, Chichén Itzá, in an unparalleled experience. And the last stop will be in Chichen Itza, we will walk through the archaeological zone, the Temple of the Warriors, the Ball Court, the legendary Pyramid of Kukulcán and more. Afterwards we stop on Budikovac island for a longer swim on hidden white pebble beach with turquoise sea color. On our way to the island of Hvar you will enjoy the panoramic view of the amazing archipelago of Pakleni islands. Next stop is town of Hvar,one of most beautiful harbours of the world,with a rich cultural heritage and walls.
