Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Newly renovated Chalet by slopes, 2-7 Pax, 4 Rms

Our Beautiful, cosy mountain chalet has been recently renovated with designer furniture. We have newly built a very large terrace with direct access to the garden, with amazing views. The chalet is located an hour drive from Zurich, in Arvenbühl, at 1250m altitude. The chalet is ski in-ski out. It has 3 bedrooms: 1 main bedroom with a queen bed, a second smaller bedroom with a bunk bed and on the top floor (low ceiling), there are 4 additional beds. It is perfect for a family of 2 to 7.

The apartment is surrounded by nature, away from the road, yet close to the village. There you will find shopping facilities such as Volg, Spar mini, bakery with coffee and also a restaurant. We also have an indoor pool, where you can enjoy the warm water on the bubble loungers and admire the mountains. The apartment has many toys, a TV with 7 days of replay. The kitchen is well equipped but without a dishwasher. From the living room and bedroom you can see the mountains and Lake Walen.

MEHRSiCHT – this name stands for what it promises. This attractively furnished studio apartment is located in an elevated position above Lake Walen. It is located in an originally renovated "Ammler" farmhouse as a separate residential unit with its own entrance. Amidst intact nature with a postcard panorama, the loft offers lots of peace and privacy. The panoramic view with fantastic views of the lake & mountains is unique. The large apartment is decorated in a warm Scandinavian style and has a private sauna (working again thanks to a new stove). Amden offers five ski lifts, countless hiking trails, cross-country skiing and toboggan runs, deep forests and rushing mountain streams. All surrounded by beautiful views. Welcome to the mountains!

The studio is set at the edge of the village center of Weesen in a quiet residential area. The lake is 150 m away. Excursions to the region are perfectly possible due to the perfect transport connections. Together with the regions of Heidiland, Glarnerland, St. Gallen and Lake Zurich, the excursion possibilities within an hour's drive are almost endless. The village center can be reached on foot in a few minutes.
