If you want to take a short drive there are amazing beaches with penguins, seals, sea lions, albatrosses and much more. Use us as a base and explore the museums, galleries and other wonderful heritage sights of Dunedin.

The Lookout is a luxurious self contained small house with wonderful harbour views and a rural back drop. Only 18 mins from Dunedin and 2 mins from Port Chalmers cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs. The Lookout has an open living space including the kitchen. A compact bathroom and mezzanine bedroom with breathtaking views. Roselle Farm Cottage on the Otago Peninsula

Roselle Farm Cottage resides beside a farm paddock encompassing pasture, garden, and harbour views. There are sheep and sometimes lambs that you can pat and feed. The Royal Albatross Centre, Little Blue Penguins, Penguin Place, and Larnach Castle are 15-minute drive from the cottage. We are close to many beautiful beaches that host sea lions and seals. There are many great walks with scenic views. It is a self-contained cottage with everything you need for cooking and washing.

Lovely Historic School, Karitane

Our unique stand alone studio is a small, historic, renovated school about 30km north of Dunedin and close to the village of Karitane. The school has everything you need for a warm, comfortable stay. There books and games for your use. We live in a repurposed sheep shearing shed nearby and both buildings are surrounded by extensive gardens and plantings. There are panoramic views of the very picturesque coast line and out to sea. It is very peaceful and private.

Merton Park farmstay

We are a small self sufficient farm with friendly goats, donkeys, alpacas and cattle. We have free range chickens in the orchard and ducks on the pond. We grow much of our own fruit and vegetables. We have 87 acres of hillside you are welcome to explore. Right on the main road, but peaceful and private, we are only 30 minutes' drive from Dunedin city centre, and 10 minutes from delightful beaches, friendly villages, and a bird sanctuary.
