Quiet location and good infrastructure in the village with village shops and restaurants. In Filzbach (5 minutes by car or bus), the Kerenzerbergbahnen offer various activities throughout the year. The gondola lift in Unterterzen, which leads to the Flumserberg ski and hiking area, can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The apartment is surrounded by nature, away from the road, yet close to the village. There you will find shopping facilities such as Volg, Spar mini, bakery with coffee and also a restaurant. We also have an indoor pool, where you can enjoy the warm water on the bubble loungers and admire the mountains. The apartment has many toys, a TV with 7 days of replay. The kitchen is well equipped but without a dishwasher. From the living room and bedroom you can see the mountains and Lake Walen.

The living room is for shared use, and there is a small refrigerator, a Nespresso machine and a kettle. Please note: There is no kitchen and no possibility to cook. Our cat also lives in the attic. The studio is set at the edge of the village center of Weesen in a quiet residential area. The lake is 150 m away. Excursions to the region are perfectly possible due to the perfect transport connections. Together with the regions of Heidiland, Glarnerland, St. Gallen and Lake Zurich, the excursion possibilities within an hour's drive are almost endless. The village center can be reached on foot in a few minutes.
