When it’s cold, enjoy the gas fireplace - and there’s AC for if you want to keep the curtains open on the massive windows facing the Pacific on a sunny day. Cape Cod Cottages are located directly on Big Stump Beach, with miles of sand in each direction. Waldport - a great location for crabbing and clamming - is just to the North. You can rent boats to try crabbing from Dock of the Bay or McKinley’s Oregon Coast Marina, and at low tide, you can go clamming in the mud near the bridge. The quant town of Yachats is a few miles to the South, with great restaurants, and a beautiful rocky coastline full of tidepools at low tide. The Newport Aquarium is 30 minutes to the North, and you can explore the Sand Dunes 45 minutes to the south by foot, rented ATV, or guided tour. Need space for family & friends? Descend private stairs from the yard to the secluded beach below to access some of Oregon's best tide pools, agates & beachcombing. An oceanview outdoor shower, fully decked hot tub, fire pit, lush gardens, & stocked surf shack w/ arcade enrich the wild coast experience.

Our family beach house is located in the Bayshore Beach Club neighborhood of Waldport, OR with the Pacific Ocean out the back door. The house has its own little protected beach area in the backyard out of the wind. The upstairs has two bedrooms with king sized beds, a great room, kitchen and dining area. The master bedroom has a new shower with two shower heads and a sliding door out to the back patio. Downstairs is a perfect hang out space. There's a sitting area, TV, bunk bed and queen bed.

Hunt for agates on the smelt sand beach and explore the tide pools just in front of the house, walk down the nearby 804 trail to an 8-mile sandy beach, or head to nearby Cape Perpetual for a hike.

Under a spell of centuries of wind and waves, Cape Perpetua awaits. Here you'll find The Carriage House, an enchanted cottage with views of tiny Dragons Cove, Laughing Gull Island, and the majestic Perpetua headland, highest point on the Oregon coast. It's hard to imagine a more pristine oceanfront setting. Two dozen harbor seals congregate and birth their young on the island.
