The Alley House, located in Leavenworth, is a blissfully peaceful guest house detached from the main residence. This quiet retreat is surrounded by trees and just steps away from the Wenatchee river. A convenient 2 block walk to the heart of town makes this location ideal for parking, access to festivals, river play, trail walks, and the downtown shops. This is an ideal four season getaway for your outdoor adventures, weekend events, or as a relaxing retreat.
“This place was perfect for us. We’ve stayed in Leavenworth many times and this was the nicest so far. The photos are very accurate and it’s great for two people. Most places in town are in the same or price range and aren’t as nice, clean or don’t have any character and don’t attract you to return. But this spot is great and we intend to stay again when we come back to Leavenworth.”
Come get your “zen” on! Unwind and take in the epic view of the famous Snow Creek wall, straight from the living room. Watch it snow, in the outdoor jacuzzi. Detox and release tight muscles in the infrared sauna. Grab a book or strike a Yoga pose in the “zen den” (loft). Maybe a glass of wine, by the Norwegian fireplace? Be sure to get a taste of the tree-house feeling, including chirping squirrels and coyotes, howling at the moon. Yet only a 3 min. drive from "downtown" Leavenworth!
“This magical little healing oasis was exactly what I needed for some charming relaxation. There is something special in every nook and on every shelf, taking the time to appreciate the beauty around me within the cabin and outside of made my stay exceptionally sweet. Thank you Kathrin for sharing a piece of your heart and for being a lovely host. Will be back ❤”
"The Shedd" used to be a shed before our architect got a hold of it and turned it into a retreat for writing, reading, and napping. The 800 sq. ft. guesthouse has a bedroom, bathroom w/ walk-in shower, small kitchen, dining nook, sitting area, desk, wifi, and A/C. Even though it's just a 7-minute walk to the village, our place backs up to the wilderness, with great views of Tumwater Mountain and Icicle Ridge. Best of all, The Shedd has many windows, much fresh air, and lots of natural light.
“Tom and Bettina’s place provides a stunning experience from beginning to end. A warm enticing entrance awaited us with elegant music. The home is well designed for comfort and taking full advantage of the natural surroundings. Absolutely would recommend to anyone considering it!”
