Only 20 minutes from Christchurch City and two minutes to the local town, this guesthouse is the perfect rural experience without being far from where you need to go. Escape to the country, and unwind in our newly renovated shed. Set in a peaceful rural area, only 10 minutes from Rangiora. The Shed has a lovely private deck overlooking the paddock and extensive views of the mountains, and breathtaking sunsets. Stargazing on a clear night is a must too. The Shed is bright, comfortable, Ideal for couples or solo travelers looking for a peaceful escape with a touch of luxury. Please note there is no Wifi available, but we do have a Chromecast plug in.

Matawai nature park 2 minute walk.

Te Ara Cottage Tranquil Retreat

Beautiful charming cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has a gas cooker, bbq set, microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey.
