As a couple, with family or friends, everything is designed so you can have a pleasant stay in Ardèche. Some suggestions for activities to do during your stay: Canyoning in the Besorgues Valley, canoeing-kayaking in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, bike ride, Via Ferrata... Discover the Chauvet Cave, the village of Balazuc, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, the famous Ardèche Gorges and much more. Relaxation: Vals-les-Bains and its thermal baths. Many swimming spots are also to be discovered. Entertainment: Provencal market every Saturday morning. Airette parking is about 100 m away, under video surveillance and totally free. Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

It is located upstairs, for four adults, adjoining the owners' farmhouse. 48 m2 living room, with fully equipped open kitchen, relaxation area with 127 cm TV, air conditioning. 35 m2 master suite with walk-in shower, double sinks, separate toilet, air conditioning. 30 m2 mezzanine.
