A unique property on the shore of the lake, completed in 2021. Here you can enjoy the silence and the magnificent scenery in the middle of nature. The property has disposable dishes, a kettle, a microwave, a toaster and a mini fridge. Only ready meals can be enjoyed at the property. Airport 16 km, nearest shop 13 km, Rovaniemi city center 17 km. In winter you can walk on the ice of the lake. The neighbors' yards are private. There is also a lean-to/fireplace on the beach for guests. You can see the northern lights on the shore of the lake on the ice.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and water for washing in sauna is taken from the lake.

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. Nivankylä village is located 10km from Rovaniemi city centre. Our place is almost hidden by the trees in local village. Here you can spend your holidays in your own peace. Me and my husband have built for you a little log villa with love. We have rebuilt place with own hands with touch of local culture. Logs are from 50-century. In case you need a help, we would be helping you because we live very nearby. Help is always near. You will be our quests and we will be there for you.

It's easy to relax in this unique holiday resort. Vikajärvi is a small village north of the Arctic Circle that offers the peace of nature. You can watch the northern lights in peace from your own large yard - the nearest neighbor is 100 m away. Nearby are beautiful hiking trails, a small convenience store, a café and a gas station. Almost all activities are along the road between the cottage and the city of Rovaniemi, and the journey is conveniently made by bus or taxi.

Cozy room with bathroom, kitchenette and French balcony near city center. 140cm wide bed. Bed sheets, towels, and cooking utensils. TV. Microwave, washing machine. In a cellar there’s drying room. Supermarket, bus station, and train station within walking distance. There's a free parking along Karhunkaatajantie. You can also park to the in yard for 3 hours with a parking disc. Arctic Heather Hideaway is a peaceful 21.5 m² guesthouse just 10 km from Rovaniemi center and 6 km from Santa Claus Village and Rovaniemi Airport. It offers a cozy living area with a double bed, light kitchenette, and private bathroom. Guests can relax in a traditional wood-heated sauna prepared by the hosts. Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

Welcome to stay on our local reindeer farm. The ensuite guesthouse is located in our courtyard by the beautiful (Raudanjoki) riverbank. Forrest starts just outside the premises so leave the noise and lights of the city behind and come to enjoy the peace and quiet. Some of our reindeers live by the courtyard, we have winter walking track nearby forest and a perfect location for spotting the northern lights.

Traditional Finnish cottage

This traditional Finnish cottage is located by the Lake Norvajärvi 15 km from the center of Rovaniemi and 10 km from the airport. We have renovated the cottage in summer and fall 2019&2022 for your better use. Here you can feel the Finnish cottage culture and enjoy the peace of nature and silence. If the weather is good for the Northern lights and you want to see them this is the place.
