Villa Aurlandsfjord - Studio flat in Klokkargarden

Welcome to Klokkargarden - the quiet pearl in Aurland! The old part of the house was built 1947 and we are now the 4th and 5th generation living here. It has always been Marit’s favourite place and it is growing on Espen as well. The new part of the house where you find your flat was was finished 2018. The outdoor area is still "work in progress" - but lift your eyes and you can see the beauty of the Aurlandsfjord. The flat is well suited for 2-3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 young children.

Here you are surrounded by high mountains, a lake, rivers and waterfalls. The area are good for trout fishing, and it's possible for the guests to rent a boat during the summer. If you like hiking, there are many great routs in the area. If you just are looking for silence and beautiful scenery, just sit down and enjoy!

The cottage is located on the popular tourist route Nasjonal turistveg Gaularfjellet, which stretches for about 114 km and offers spectacular views of fjords, waterfalls and mountain valleys. During your stay, the cottage will be accompanied by views of Sognefjorden, the longest fjord in Europe, and numerous waterfalls. The picturesque town of Balestrand is just a 25-minute drive away.
