Cabin on a former smallholding, with a perfect location on the north of Lofoten, where mountains meet the sea. The view from the property is enormous, and is a beautiful vantage point for the midnight sun! Very great location for hiking in mountains, fishing in fresh water and sea, swimming in fresh water, and as a starting point for trips around Lofoten. Right by the property is the mountain peak "Haveren" (808m). Access to hunting terrain in the fall, with abundance of duck, goose, grouse, etc. 25 min from Leknes, 45 min from Svolvær.

Annex on Nordskot

Detached annex at Naustneset, Nordskot. The annex is located in quiet surroundings with great views, only 20 minutes walk from shop and speedboat quay. The beach is only 5 minutes away and we have 2 kayaks that can be rented. The area otherwise offers ample opportunities for mountain hiking and fishing. Outside the annex there is a terrace with a seating area - perfect for your morning coffee or a glass in the midnight sun. The annex is detached but is located on the same land as the main house where the host is on vacation.

Vogna is quietly located in Svolvær, with walking and fondness to both the city center and popular hiking destinations such as Blåtinden, Kongstinden, Tuva, Tjeldbergtind and more. The kitchen is equipped with what you need for simple meals. The wagon is heated and has electricity and running water.

Caravan, Gravdal Vestvågøy

Camper on property in the middle of Lofoten! The perfect starting point for visiting all of Lofoten without long stretches. (The caravan was replaced in 2022, so reviews before 2023 apply to an older caravan with fewer amenities and lower comfort) It is 7 miles to Svolvær, 6 miles to Reine, about 2 miles to the surf beach Unstad, and 8km to the fishing village Ballstad. There is good opportunity to be able to participate in the famous Lofoten fishing/winter fishing, and also fishing trips in the summer.

Leknes: central guesthouse in quiet area

Welcome to Vestvågøy in Lofoten, and welcome to be our guest. We rent out a charming and practical guesthouse, located in our back yard. Our guesthouse has one bedroom, and there is a sleeping sofa in the living room. The guesthouse has a nice, big living room, a simple kitchen area (with a refrigerator, small cooking oven, microwave and a sink, and the equipment that is needed for simple cooking), a bathroom with toilet and shower, and a storage room. There is also a washing machine available.

My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. I’ve been obsessed with the bay window where I can see the beauty of the view through all the seasons which give me such a different moment in every season to take on. You can enjoy a nice meal or just stroll around the caipromenade in Svolvær or take a shopping trip. Be base here and drive around and enjoy all the great things Lofoten has to offer nature to dining experience.

Enjoy the cozy atmosphere of this old cabin, situated in the middle of one of Lofoten's biggest and most vibrant fishing villages. If you're looking for a comfortable base to explore everything the islands have to offer, this is it. From here you can reach all of Lofoten by car in less than two hours, or enjoy everything Ballstad has to offer - from gourmet restaurants, scuba-diving courses to fishing trips and hikes that start right at the cabins doorstep.
