Relax in the evening sun on the front porch or balcony. The house is under renovation and has in a couple of places removed finishes. Swim in beautiful lake Övden 5 km away, visit Åsnens National Park at Trollberget 6.5 km away and shop locally produced at Handelsboden in Rubbatorp 3 km away and general supplies at Tommys Liv in Lönashult, 3.5 km from the house.

A unique and peaceful accommodation in the middle of the forest. In this tree house, you live up among the trees in a peaceful and quiet place with animals, birds and nature as neighbors. Here, the noise level is quiet, it smells like forest and the air is clean. If you're looking for a place to unwind, you've found the right place. The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house is in and the insulation is wood shavings from floors and walls. For us, it is important to protect the ecological and local.

The house has three proper bedrooms and there is an opportunity to expand the sleeping areas with two more sofa beds. Charming details that testify to the deep roots of the Småland countryside there are plenty and here you get to experience a holiday that provides plenty of time for recovery, with long walks and dinners overlooking the lake. And maybe a ride in the canoe by the beach?

Close to Åsnen, its national park and free nature

With the lake Åsnen at sight, open fields around it and the forest behind, this place can offer all the best of Swedish countryside. The cottage is across the courtyard to the main house. Your entrance is facing mine, but outside the backdoor you´ll find all the space you need to be on your own. Nice beaches on convenient distance and within a radius of 10 km you will find cosy cafés, farmers shops and much more. And not to forget: Åsnen National Park, of which I´m certified as a collaborator.

Vrankunge Mellangård

A typical charming Swedish red cottage in lovely surroundings next to Lake Åsnen (10 min walk). You have acces to a boat (4p) from may - september. 4 km from the house you can find an open bathing area with a gantry. The house is located very close to the National Park of Åsnen ("Åsnens Nationalpark"). The main house is fully equipped with 2 bedrooms that offers six beds. It is very quiet and peaceful here and you will see sheep, cows and horses graze near the house.
