Welcome to your lakefront oasis in Youbou, British Columbia. Designed as a place for friends and family to gather, the Youbou Lakehouse is a sanctuary where you can unwind and connect with the natural world. Enjoy private lake access, a stunning view, 2 outdoor fire pits, paddle boards, a gorgeous sauna, salt water hot tub, and a massive 85” TV with surround sound. Have fun, but no parties, and please choose another spot if you are unwilling to be considerate of our wonderful neighbors.

Bench 170

Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Permit issued from the Islands Trust for this listing for short term vacation rentals. Provincial registration number obtained and valid. Lovely three bedroom cottage on the ocean with private beach access. Sleeps 6 comfortably in 3 bedrooms. Fully fenced side yard, dogs negotiable. Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that while there is wi-fi at the cabin, there is no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
