Kitchen and living room in one, with lovely views and two verandas. The house is located in a very peaceful area on our farm, at the end of a road. Here you can relax and let time stand still. There is nice hiking terrain just outside the door. You can walk on trails in the fields, or take the car to popular destinations in the area such as the Pulpit Rock, Kjerag, Jærstrendene, Kongeparken, Sandnes and Stavanger.

It is a short drive to beautiful Jærstrender and in the opposite direction to hiking areas on Høg-jæren. It is about 30 min by car or train to Stavanger city center. Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. The farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop in 2023 and 2025 and is a small attraction in its own right. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.

Within 1 hour by car you can reach the towns of Stavanger and Eigersund, or visit Månafossen and Kongeparken. It takes ca 1,5 hours by car to the parking at Preikestolen.
