Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with possibilities for more activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater blades are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach on Notaflå is centrally located and provides swimming opportunities on a nice summer day. Also in the vicinity is the Straumen school. Here, the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand you will not find unknown Himakånå. "Straumen is the Draumen"

Perfekt for familier, par og vennegrupper som ønsker en rolig ferie med nærhet til både natur og lokale fasiliteter. Passer best for inntil 8 personer, men har plass til 10 ved bruk av to små barnerom med lav takhøyde. Fullt utstyrt kjøkken og komfortabel stue. Annekset åpnes ved 5–10 gjester.

Nedstrand. The cabin is located just off the path to Himakånå, and has good hiking opportunities. The property is fenced, making the place safe for children. The living room window has a great sea view. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 sleeps 3: 1 bunk bed and 1 cot with length 150 cm. Please be mindful of grazing animals outside the property. Free parking space is about 150m from the cabin, to get up you have to go a steep climb but one can drive closer to unload luggage.

Idyllically located cabin at the shore of Grindefjorden. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the fjord. Private beach and jetty, with access to boat(summerfun) access. Charming "Southern style" cabin. The cabin is small but have what you need. And in terms of experience, it's the great outdoor areas that are used the most. There is a large terrace where you can enjoy both morning coffee and sunset when the sun sets at 22:00. Brygge has a dining group for 10.

The area is home to rich, biodiverse, unspoiled nature, with eagles soaring by day and owls howling at night. Unwind with a sauna-session, followed by a refreshing plunge in the lake.

Her er det rikelig plass til lek,bålkos og grill. Det er gode solplasser rundt hele hytten. 15-30 min med bil til alle atractioner på Haugalandet. For matevarehandel anbefales nærbutikken i Slåttevik som ligger kun 4 min unna med bil.

Idyllic house by the fjord, Bakkevig Gard

The house is located in scenic and peaceful surroundings close to the fjord. It is an old but modernized log house with warm and good atmosphere. Here you can relax with a good book, take a fishing trip or a nice mountain hike on several of the peaks nearby, e.g. Himakånå or Hest. It is also possible to take day trips to e.g. Preikestolen or Langfoss.
