This house has two beds. One is across from the wood stove. The second is in the sleeping loft. The loft has an open fourth wall and a queen mattress. It’s a cozy spot and not roomy. The Cabin is a cozy getaway located on a 4.5 acre lot in a quiet neighborhood. It's only 10 minutes away from the Baton Rouge Airport and Walmart. Downtown Baton Rouge and LSU are about 20 minutes away so if you’re planing to watch a game or enjoy the city it is a little bit of a drive. There's also a simple walking trail that goes to an over view of the Comite River. It takes 5 or 10 minutes to walk and can be challenging for small children but will be enjoyable for out door lovers.

Yellow Bayou Plantation is a real working farm that sits on over 100 acres along the historic Yellow Bayou. The guesthouse is located behind the main house. It has an open floor plan, a full kitchen and an antique claw foot tub. There are horses, chickens, cows & honey bees located on the property as well as a stocked fishing pond and a swimming pool. You may see a combine harvesting a crop off in the distance or beekeeping activity. Come fall in love with this rural farming area.

The Homochitto National Forest is minutes away. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking or bird watching in the quiet while watching wildlife. We also have games & TV/DVD player hookup only. Take a day or afternoon & go looking for arrowheads, fossils & other treasures like gold rocks.

3V Tourist Courts @ Magnolia Cafe

Cabins are prewar 1940's motor court with covered parking. Each cabin features, queen bed, TV, WiFi, small bathroom with small shower, original lavatory & fixtures in bathroom. Small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Air conditioners and electric space heaters. Restaurant (Magnolia Cafe) hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10-3 and Coffee Shop ( Birdman ) on site. Come enjoy history with modern amenities and explore the beautiful plantations homes in our area.
