“The Airbnb concept is a wonderful idea. People open their homes to you and you have an instant connection to a community. Staying with Dawn and Mark was so much better than I could’ve imagined. They are both extremely hospitable and generous. You show up to a house as a guest but when you leave Dawn and Mark’s home you are family. If you are looking for a place to stay that is quiet and homey, Dawn and Mark’s home is your destination.”
This room features its own exterior access door and private bathroom, separate from the main house. Our home is a few blocks away from parks, art and culture, including museums and the Capitol, with restaurants and bars within walking distance. Safe, quiet, in the bustle of downtown but the privacy of a neighborhood. The location, people, and ambiance of our funky neighborhood make this a perfect spot. My place is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and pets.
“Collin + Janay’s home was beautifully decorated and equipped with literally everything you might need. The room is within the house, but has it’s own separate entrance for added privacy. It was the perfect location for my boyfriend & I’s staycation, and I hope we get the chance to book again! Don’t think twice <3”

Enjoy the restaurants, shops, and culture of Mid City and the Perkins Overpass, the biking and running paths of City Park, and the beautiful homes of this historic, walkable neighborhood. With a private entrance, full kitchen, laundry, and wifi, this place is great for visiting students, taking in a game, or traveling for business.
“Phillip went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of. The guest house was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful neighborhood to take a walk through. It is a perfect, central location for all kinds of sights and activities in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.”
