Detached very small room with bathroom and private entrance in a rural location and would need transport to access the area. Only suitable for 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child. Infants not allowed. 15 minute drive from Cavan town. 10 minutes drive to the closest shop and pub. Includes double bed, microwave, small fridge freezer, small folding table, small George Foreman grill, kettle, hot water, electric heating and Smart TV with Netflix. The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
