Small Paradise above the Walensee

Guests have a separate apartment with their own kitchen, bath and living room but they share the same entrance to the house with the owner. All the surroundings of the house can be used by the guests. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric stove, cooking utilities (inclusive herbs, vinegar and oil) cutlery and tableware. Food needs to be brought by the guests. The nearest store is a 30min drive away. A Fondue-Set is available upon request. There is also a Nespresso machine inclusive capsuls and an open fire place right next to the house. The main bedroom includes a double bed (1.40m) and there is another separate room with a single bed, inclusive bedding. The bathroom comes with towels, shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer.

Our bright apartment is centrally located in Walenstadt. It offers plenty of space for families or couples. A large terrace with gas grill invites you to linger in summer. Shopping facilities are right outside the door. You can reach the train station with connections to Zurich or Chur in 5 minutes, and the beautiful Walensee with a free swimming beach and playground in 15 minutes on foot. From here, you can also easily reach the Flumserberge by public transport or car, perfect for winter sports or biking.

Walkers Cottage, Home away from Home

This Newly renovated cottage is situated in the beautiful Mountains over looking the Walensee, with spectacular views of the Churfirsten. Transport is recommended , but its just a 10min walk down Oberterzen, where you find the cable car to go up to Flumserberg ski resort. (Ski in or out, only when there is enough snow) Or a 5 min drive down to Unterterzen where there is great swimming in Summer, other Restaurants, Supermarket, Bank, Post office, Train station, etc. We have a no pet policy

This two-storey gallery penthouse on 133m2, located in the Walensee resort, is characterized by its unique view of the mountains and directly over the lake. From this location you can walk to the Unterterzen-Flumserberg gondola in a few minutes, to the Unterterzen train station in 150m or to the lake. The location is ideal for sports activities in winter as well as in summer. The region is very attractive and still a little insider tip away from traffic and mass tourism.

In a few minutes you can be on the slopes in winter or enjoy a refreshment in Lake Walen in summer. The surrounding area also offers many opportunities for hiking, biking and much more.

Our paradise invites you to relax. Cozy guest room upstairs with en-suite bathroom and fantastic views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. The living room is for shared use, and there is a small refrigerator, a Nespresso machine and a kettle. Please note: There is no kitchen and no possibility to cook. Our cat also lives in the attic. We live in a remote location, so a car is an advantage. Parking space and seating area with fire pit available.

In a perfect location, you’ll find a small, newly renovated and lovingly furnished studio with a double bed, a small kitchen and an en-suite bathroom. You’ll also have access to the conservatory and the garden/barbecue area. The studio, which sleeps up to 2 people, has its own entrance and is situated right in the heart of Walenstadt’s historic centre. All shopping facilities are within walking distance. It is 650 m to the station.
