The apartment is light and spacious and is in a quiet area, but only a 5 minute walk from Retford Town Centre with pubs, shops and amenities and only a 5 minute walk from Retford Train Station. You will have the apartment to yourself with a private entrance from an external staircase. The apartment has been newly renovated in 2020 and sleeps 2 with room for a cot.

Holly Cottage

We hope that you will enjoy your stay in this unique cottage with stunning views and spacious layout for 2. Holly cottage has under floor heating throughout which is powered by a ground source heat pump ,hence no carbon monoxide alarm is required. Holly Cottage was built in 2015 but our main house was built in the 1880s. We feel the character of the cottage compliments the main house. Gringley is a fabulous place to walk and explore, the pub is only 300 yards away.

Lovely cosy bungalow in popular village close to Retford. Private garden, drive with parking for three vehicles. Two large bedrooms and a third room with large double sofa bed and french doors that open onto the garden. The sofa bed is recommended for occasional use only to accommodate two further guests.

Ideally suited for access to M1 junction 31. Local restaurants, pubs, supermarkets within short drive away. 40 mins drive to the Derbyshire Peak District. Local walks in surrounding countryside taking in the ancient Roche Abbey ruins. The whole house to use as your own during your stay.
