Villa Väylän Helmi is located in the municipality of Ylitornio, in Marjosaari, Kaulinranta village. The island is a peaceful rural setting, with mostly holiday homes. Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

The main building has a kitchen, dining area and living room. Separate toilet with washing machine and dryer, as well as an electric sauna and shower room with toilet seat. Two bedrooms (both with double beds), a loft with a sofa bed (120x200) and, if necessary, 2 extra beds. In addition, the main building has an access from the outside to the additional room upstairs, with two beds as well as armchairs and a small fridge for two. There is also an outdoor sauna and a glazed barbecue hut in the yard. A jetty on the beach.

Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage with private sauna on the Arctic Circle, a warm retreat where Nordic simplicity meets soulful comfort. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Enjoy Lapland in a peaceful environment in this comfortable cabin. Getaway from the city and experience the true northern nature. There is a wide selection of winter activites arranged near by like (reindeer farms, snow mobile tours etc.) and the location is less than an hour drive from bigger attractions (Rovaniemi, Santa Claus village, ski resorts). In the summer there are SUP-boards you can use for free and a wood heated grill. Nearby is also a nature trail called Sompasen luontopolku.

Mökissä on viihtyisä tupa, takka ja hyvin varusteltu keittiö nurkkaus. Yläkerrassa vuoteet ja upeat näköalat. Vieraamme ovat nauttineet puulämmitteisestä saunasta ja uimisesta, suppailusta ja järvellä veneellä soutelusta. Rannassa myös oma laavu, jossa voit illalla tulistella ja ihailla upeaa aurigonlaskua ja valmistaa vaikkapa i ruokaa.

The cabin has a rowing boat, coal grill and an outdoor eco toilet to crown the traditional wilderness cabin feeling. The double bed and outdoor jaquzzi bring the luxorious feel to the place, and the private shore with a pier where you can sit and enjoy the calm nature around you.

Lapin neljä ainutlaatuista vuodenaikaa mahdollistaa erilaisia aktiviteetteja luonnon helmassa, kuten lumileikit talvella, pilkkiminen keväällä, uiminen raikkaassa vedessä kesällä ja syksyllä sekä patikointia ympäri vuoden. Onnela Spacious cozy detached house in the beautiful scenery of Ylitornio. The house has four separate bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a dining area, two toilets and a shower room with a wood-fired sauna. The large backyard is fenced, so pets can run freely. The boat shore and Ylitornio's fine sandy beaches are only about 1 km away. Ainiovaara's magnificent skiing and outdoor areas are located nearby. The Aavasaksa ski slopes are about 15 km away.

Viihtyisä pieni mobiili mökki, tai oikeastaan minikoti (tiny cabin on wheels) sijaitsee järven rannalla kukkuloiden keskellä noin tunnin ajomatkan päässä Rovaniemeltä.
