NOTE! LINEN IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENT, can be ordered separately for €18/set The cottage is electrified and has a loft. It has 4 beds: downstairs there are two sofa beds, in addition, the loft has a bed. There is a sauna on the beach and a terrace in front of it with a table and chairs. There is also a gazebo with a fireplace and a wood stove. There is an outdoor toilet. A boat is available, a charcoal grill can be found on the terrace. Drinking water is sourced from a natural spring with the best and clearest water in the world.

Very well equipped cottage on the shore of the lake

The main building has a kitchen, dining area and living room. Separate toilet with washing machine and dryer, as well as an electric sauna and shower room with toilet seat. Two bedrooms (both with double beds), a loft with a sofa bed (120x200) and, if necessary, 2 extra beds. In addition, the main building has an access from the outside to the additional room upstairs, with two beds as well as armchairs and a small fridge for two. There is also an outdoor sauna and a glazed barbecue hut in the yard. A jetty on the beach.

Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage with private sauna on the Arctic Circle, a warm retreat where Nordic simplicity meets soulful comfort. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Hunt the Northern Lights from your private garden, snowshoe through ancient forests and walk on a frozen lake far from the tourist crowds. With 5 ha of private land, it's just you and the Arctic. After a day outdoors, warm up in a traditional Finnish sauna, gather around the fireplace, or sit by the outdoor firepit under a star-filled sky. Sleep in silence, wake up to snow. Enjoy Lapland in a peaceful environment in this comfortable cabin. Getaway from the city and experience the true northern nature. There is a wide selection of winter activites arranged near by like (reindeer farms, snow mobile tours etc.) and the location is less than an hour drive from bigger attractions (Rovaniemi, Santa Claus village, ski resorts). In the summer there are SUP-boards you can use for free and a wood heated grill. Nearby is also a nature trail called Sompasen luontopolku.

Lapland Aurora Apartment / Private Sauna

A clean and cozy apartment of hotel level with a good location, suitable for both short and long stays. You don't need to bring anything with you. (Centre 2km, tourist centre 10km, hospital 1.5km Santa Claus' workshop village 1h by car) All photos taken in the apartment, no additional photos from the internet! I can take care of airport transfers and help plan activities in the area, such as ice fishing, skiing, aurora hunting or snowmobile safaris. All within 10 km of the apartment.

Cottage by the lake

A cottage by the water, where you can enjoy the summer in many different ways. The two-story log cabin sits on the shore of Lake Lanko. The cottage has a cozy cottage, a fireplace, and a well-stocked kitchen corner. Upstairs, beds and great views. Our guests have enjoyed the wood-fired sauna and swimming, tubing, and rowing on the lake. You also have your own shelter on the beach, where you can build a fire in the evening, admire the stunning sunset, and maybe even cook a meal.
