Gîte de l'Abbaye d'Etrun and its green park

The cottage is the oldest house in the village, it guarded the entrance to the Abbey of the Benedictines of Etrun. The Abbey was founded in 980 and destroyed during the revolution in 1789. The whole has been listed as a Historic Monument. In 1815 Cardinal De La TOUR d'AUVERGNE decided to build his "Summer Residence" of which the surrounding walls still exist, as well as some period elements. In 1915, General Pétain made it his headquarters and commanded the Battle of Artois from these places.

Here, there are no neighbours or roads: trees as far as the eye can see, silence, and a 160 m² terrace to enjoy from morning to night. 15 minutes from Arras, 1 hour from Lille or the Côte d'Opale. The chalet was designed as a break: high-end furniture, natural materials, large openings onto the forest. People come here to switch off, walk and leave feeling calm.

Take a break in the countryside and relax in this small stable converted into a cozy cottage in the countryside. This studio is attached to our home but is completely autonomous. Two ATVs are available. To go further, a car is required (located 25 minutes from Arras/Hesdin, 30 minutes from Lens/Vimy. One hour from Lille and the Opal Coast. Paris is 2 hours by car (or 45 minutes by TGV from Arras). Cross circuit in Ternois 20 min.

We offer this private accommodation within our farmhouse, the accommodation is located on the first floor of our home, you will have private access by an external staircase, On the ground floor outside is a garden table for the summer season. parking is available in front of the house Access can be done independently thanks to the lockbox provided for this purpose. Check-in is between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. (unless pre-approved) Check-out must be done by 11 a.m.
