Timms Cottage allows you to relax with an indoor outdoor space giving you breath taking views of Mt Dobson, Fox Peak and our farm. The cottage is situated behind the family homestead within our garden on our farm, providing a peaceful and private setting. Just to keep in mind we are an active and working farm. We are 10 km from Fairlie which has some great eating places, 3 km from Lake Opuha and half an hour from Mount Dobson and Fox Peak. Tekapo and Geraldine are only half an hour away.

This huge architecturally designed house was built in the 80’s and recently renovated with new paint, new floors, curtains, bathrooms and kitchen. This is the perfect escape for the large family or group that wants to be close to town but still enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the South Canterbury countryside. 10 minutes to Timaru CBD and beautiful Caroline Bay, 8 minutes to Pleasant Point, 25 minutes to beautiful Geraldine and just over an hour to the gorgeous tourist destination of Tekapo.

Ingredients and recipe provided to cook yourself pancakes for breakfast! Or treat yourself to egg brekkie instead. Professionally cleaned between guests. Quiet and private for a relaxing good night sleep on a firm bed with duvet and pillow options. The unit is adjacent to our home but very private. Self check-in means you may not even meet us. The unit is not luxury accommodation but it is spacious, clean and includes everything you might have at home from an ironing board to a hair dryer.

So cute and full of charm, this delightful turn of the century villa has a welcoming ambiance. Comfortable and cosy. Consisting of 2 bedrooms, kitchen/dining space and a light filled lounge room, log fire, heat pump, sun-drenched covered deck leads to a small garden. Enjoy the fresh and colourful vibe of this fully decorated studio. It has a queen and single bedroom ( with two single beds ) and a bright kitchenette, dining, living space with couch and freeview tv. It is fully self contained and has its own entrance but is attached to the main house where the hosts live. The kitchenette has a microwave and small appliances for basic cooking/reheating but is not suitable for every night cooking as there is no ventilation for strong odours.

Looking for family- friendly or workplace accommodation? We tick all the boxes. With 3 bedrooms, open plan living, big log fire, private off street parking on a flat section. Everything you need for cooking but if you don't feel like it a 1 min drive to a restaurant saves that hassle. There is a trampoline and a big back yard for the kids to burn off some energy. Also a games room with arcade games with toys and board games to keep them amused.

Our unit is modern and spacious and is separate from our house . There is everything you need to ensure you have a comfortable stay. We are situated West Timaru on a small lifestyle block surrounded by established trees and a pond. Gleniti 18 hole golf course just across the road. Very private property. Short drive to bars, cafes and restaurants central Timaru. There is a huge area for large or towing vehicles to turn around and park.
