Unique. private and very ancient dovecote near Salisbury & Stonehenge with a fabulous swimming pool in gorgeous peaceful countryside. Beautifully furnished, very well equipped, romantic and spacious. The thick stone walls make it warm and cosy in winter, cool in summer as well as quiet and private. Upstairs there is a n exceptionally comfortable super kingsize bed, a rolltop bath, a huge velvet sofa and a 50" TV. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen and large dining area and shower room.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Great for a couple wanting to get away for a short break in the countryside and ideal for visiting Stonehenge 15 mins. by car, Bath 50mins. and Salisbury 25 mins. A good stop over point for cyclists on the King Alfred’s way route. The friendly village of Tilshead is located at the heart of Salisbury Plain. Excellent Italian food available at the Rose and Crown Pub 50 yards walk away.

The village is especially well provided with a range of shops including a Chemist, Butcher, Post Office and a Co-op which is open until 10.00pm. There is a Pub and two good take-away outlets.
