The actual Sound Garden that inspired the band name, Soundgarden. It's located inside Magnusson Park up in north Seattle.

Listen to the melodies that inspired the name of Seattle's grunge band Sound Garden at the NOAA. This is a government facility that's open to the public so be sure to bring proper ID to enter.

A fun spot in a nice park and the inspiration for the 90's music sensation.

An art installation and the bands namesake. Best to go on a breezy day and best to make reservations since you need permission to access it. You will leave relaxed and pleasantly surprised!
