Our cottage is located at the banks of the Yuhara River, at the banks of the Uenbara River. Speaking of Gifu, Shirakawa-go and Hida Takayama are famous, but Enhara is also an inconvenient place in the mountains, but it is nice. The landscape of the mountains and rivers is beautiful, and it is a natural place where monkeys and deer appear. The Enhara River is a landmark of Japan's most beautiful underwater water and light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of underwater, so the transparency of the water is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On a summer morning, you can see a magical view of sunlight from among the trees due to weather conditions. The water in the Enhara River is cold, but in the summer, the children are playing in the river energetically. Temperatures drop a lot in the river, so even those who escape the heat and cool off. Tabitabi Kanoe Mitsu is a fully renovated, over 100-year-old Kyomachi house, located right next to Rokubo-Ritsu-Ji Temple, and is limited to one group per day. Looking from the entrance, you can see the garden spreading beyond the Yukimi Shoji sliding screen. It features a large palm tree. When you open the window from the living room, the semi-open-air bath directly connected to the garden invites guests to the best healing experience regardless of the season. The bathtub is made of Shigaraki-yaki, produced in a kiln in Shiga Prefecture. The far infrared effect warms the body to the core and makes it difficult for the bath to cool down. Why not relax from the daily grind while enjoying a drink and taking in the beautiful Japanese garden? The Japanese-style room on the second floor features a shoji screen with a Mondrian-style design. The bedroom headboard is designed to resemble the Tateyama mountain range. Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
