西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Our apartment, Ise Hilltop, is centrally situated 3 km from Ise Grand Shrine Naiku, 2 km from Ise Grand Shrine Geku, and 2 km from Okageyokocho. It's a great base for exploration of Ise and all of southern Mie. The independent unit is refurbished with convenience of travelers in mind. アパート「ヒルトップ」は、伊勢神宮（内宮）から３ｋｍ、おかげ横丁から２ｋｍ、伊勢神宮（外宮）から２ｋｍに位置しております。 アクセスは、お車の場合、高速道路の伊勢自動車道「伊勢西インター」よりすぐ。（無料駐車場完備） 電車の場合、近鉄「宇治山田駅」「五十鈴川駅」が最寄り駅になります。（駅からはタクシーなどご利用下さい） ごゆっくりと「伊勢の時間」をお過ごしください！

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. The price is scheduled to increase from March 2026.

The Japanese house stands in a biosphere reserve village, upstream on the Miyagawa (Miya River) which flows from Odaigahara National Park to Ise. The river is just a few minutes walk from the house which is the best place for chilling out, swimming with your family or family and enjoying water. 20 mins' drive from JR "Misedani" station and 60 mins' drive to the Osugidani Valley (one of the three greatest valleys in Japan).
