The property has an old world charming standard and it is important to us that our guests understand that it is not newly renovated but the south position by the water is superb. Nice little house with modern standards and a cozy fireplace in the middle of the Småland cultural landscape. Here you live with nature close by, surrounded by oak groves, meadows and 19th-century buildings - 25 minutes from Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. The magical Norra Kvill National Park, with great hiking opportunities, is 5 minutes from the house. A short walk from the house stands the 1000-year-old Kvilleken, and below the hill you will find a nice little swimming lake.

Drängstugan - Tiny House

Very rural and beautifully located "sommarstuga" with its own area on our farm, about 22 minutes from Katthult. Surrounded by forest and meadows, you can relax wonderfully here! The cottage is equipped with a well-equipped kitchenette, outdoor shower with hot water and a dry toilet directly adjacent to the cottage. Comfortable 160 cm bed, TV, Wi-Fi and dining table inside and outside. Towels & bed linens are included. There are horses, chickens and a dog on the farm.

In 2020, we renovated the kitchen, entrance hall and laundry room and also built a brand new bathroom on the ground floor. There is proximity to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!

Welcome to Drängstugan! A charming, tastefully renovated house with a lot of space, in the middle of the Småland forest, 7 km from Mariannelund. Similar to the farmhouse Emil's friend Alfred lived in, but much more modern inside 😁 It is a large leafy plot that is shared with the host's house. Nice to just enjoy the house, sit by the patio or walk in the forest. A bit away along the gravel road, you have magnificent views.
